1st Choice Driver Improvement Center is certified by the State of Georgia to provide a DUI School in Athens, GA as well as driver improvement services and a DUI School in Lavonia, GA. We offer Driver’s Education for new teen drivers and DUI and Risk Reduction Classes for those who have been convicted of DUI or drug possession, underage possession of alcohol while driving and various other offenses.

The DUI laws are getting even stricter in Athens which is mostly due to the growing number of DUI offenders.  As the DUI laws change, so do Athens DUI School regulations.  Currently, there are no online options for DUI, DWI or RRP (Risk Reduction Program) classes.  The courses for these offenses require in class attendance.  State approved DUI schools also have rules that must be adhered to and requirements that must be met.

1st Choice’s Driving School – DUI, Alcohol or Drug Risk Reduction Program clinics are licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services to provide assessments and the 20-hour risk reduction school, class programs required under Georgia law for the restoration of a driver’s license.  Individuals required to enroll in this course have had their driver’s license suspended or revoked for DUI,  DWI, drug offenses or underage possession and/or purchase of alcohol or drugs.  These school programs also satisfy most alcohol and/or drug classes ordered by Georgia courts.
